My
research grants have totalled more than £3million and I have published more than
50 peer-reviewed papers. My PhD was in the area of renal transplantation in UK

I have successfully supervised postgraduate students at Master’s level
and is currently supervising one PhD student and a post-doctoral fellow.
I sit on many University, local, and national advisory groups, and review extensively for scientific journals and research grant-making bodies. With my NHS ‘hat’ on, I am Chairman of Luton Primary Care NHS Trust.
